The Working Mom’s Essential Quiet-Time Toys for Busy (and Noisy!) Toddlers
Every working mom of a toddler knows the feeling of having a busy, noisy toddler who won’t be quiet during the very times you need some silence. As a working mom, I was always in search of the best quiet toys to keep a toddler busy!
Whether it’s a conference call, a graduation ceremony, a restaurant or church, there are always times when we need our littles to play contentedly and quietly.
The challenge is how?! How do you keep a toddler entertained?
There are countless toys to keep toddlers entertained, but many of them are battery-powered and make a TON of noise. You feel me?
The list below has AMAZING best-selling and highly rated toddler toys that are perfect for those times you need your little ones to be busy and quiet.
Some are best when your toddler is sitting in your lap, fidgeting with their hands. Others are great spread out on the floor for some concentrated busy time and entertainment. Some can be easily packed in your purse for on-the-go quiet time (these are what I fondly refer to as “Church Toys”).

This thing is a game-changer! Tablet value without the electronic screen we’re all striving to avoid.
Your toddler will love the fun of drawing on a multi-colored screen and then being able to magically erase it with the push of a button. It looks just like mom’s iPad so your little will love being able to imitate you in one more way!

These eggs are great for so many learning opportunities!

This toy looked scary to me. I like a clean house. You want me to buy a gigantic painting doodle board? No way.
Ok, but I have been seriously converted!! All it takes is a little bit of water, and your little is off to the races painting on a multi-colored mat. This is good for an easy hour of entertainment and learning.
Not a toy to-go, but a GREAT one for those conference calls while you’re working from home.
